The more I come to Greece the more i get a glimpse of what Greece is about. Too often, we search for Apollo. The classical period; the god of reason. Philosophy and the golden age of Pericles.
But then there is Dionysus, the god of chaos, that mingles with reason as in life. In greece the two meet. East and west; order and chaos.
The romans, the Turks, the struggle for independence: the underground streams of all these dionysusses nurished the fruits of the upper world. If Dionysus had not existed, Apollo would have
become anemic. In the 3000 years that have passed, much new blood has entered into Greek veins and enriched them. And one cannot fail to notice the two mingle inside like the blue waves that
surround the islands. ❤️🇬🇷
